As a donor to the Go Ape Foundation, it is possible to give with tax benefits. The Go Ape Foundation has been designated by the tax authorities as an ANBI (Public Benefit Organization). ANBI/CBF

Gifts are tax-deductible
A gift or donation to an ANBI may be deducted in your income tax return. This applies to both ‘ordinary’ gifts and ‘periodic’ gifts. Different conditions apply to both types, which the Tax and Customs Administration explains here.
A threshold and a maximum apply to the deductibility of ordinary gifts. With a periodic gift, you commit to donating a fixed amount per year to the Go Ape Foundation for a period of at least 5 years. No threshold applies to the deductibility of periodic gifts, and there is a maximum of €250,000 per year. Read more about it on the website of the Tax and Customs Administration.
Chimpanzees assured of your long-term support
This regular way of giving is also an advantage for the chimpanzees: they are assured of your financial help during the agreed period. In addition, the Go Ape Foundation does not have to pay any gift tax. Your gift will be fully utilized for the chimpanzee sanctuaries we work with.
